Matt is the Families Pastor of Lighthouse Church.

Matt’s heart is set on young people experiencing the life changing joy of relationship with Jesus, so they can recognize themselves as true disciples of Christ.

Matt and his wife, Jess, came to Lighthouse in 2018 by way of West Texas. He joined the staff in 2022, and is excited about the work God is doing in the city of Denver. Matt taught math in middle and high school for 7 years, building relationships with students and schools that he will keep for years to come. In his spare time, you can often find Matt at an estate sale looking for anything vintage.

Matt has a bachelor’s in math, and a master’s in education from Abilene Christian University. He and Jess have two pups, Kota and Lexi, and enjoy traveling in search of the world’s best sourdough bread.
